All Saints Academy wanted to thank the Emergency Services

After the recent tragedy in Manchester, the staff and pupils of All Saints Academy wanted to thank the Emergency Services for all their hard work.  Pupils and staff filled 12 boxes with goodies and had them delivered to the Police, Fire Service, Ambulance Station and Greater Manchester Children's Hospital.

Nicholas Carter, Student Voice Co-Ordinator, said “the response we've had from our staff and students is incredible. The idea originated from our wonderful students and their actions are testimony to their kind and considerate nature. The Student Voice Team from All Saints Academy would like to say a big thank you to Deakin-White who provided funding for Welch Couriers LTD to be able to courier our boxes to Manchester for us.”

Ed Harrison of Deakin-White commented “It’s great to see community spirit like this in our town and when we were approached by All Saints Academy to offer assistance we were more than delighted to help and shows what a great place we live in and how the younger generations have so much to offer our town”.
